Petrojam, Carib Cement vie for Business House Division One title
Petrojam and Carib Cement will contest the Western Sports/Kingston and St Andrew Football Association Division One Business House final at Winchester Park, St George's College today, starting at 4 p.m.
In the Division Two final, Wisynco and Xerox will battle for the top prize. The game is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
Petrojam are on the hunt for their sixth league title in seven seasons and riding high on confidence. The only occasion they were beaten in the Division One final was in 2014 when they went down 2-1 to Metrodade.
"We are pretty confident. This is our seventh consecutive final in the league and the guys are ready. It is a family group and that has contrbuted to our success over the years," Petrojam's manager Robert Blake told STAR Sports yesterday.
Carib Cement who won the KO title last month will look for the double, and coming all out to dethrone the champions.
Coach of Carib Cement, Dwayne Blake says his team is determined to beat Petrojam and take the title.
"We are not going there with any fear. We are not intimidated by Petrojam's success over the years. Carib Cement is very hungry for this. We know that Petrojam is a very good team, but the confidence is high in the team, Blake reasoned.
The opening game between Wisynco and Xerox should also be a highly-competitive and exciting affair.
